If you are looking for a countryside retreat where you can relax and enjoy some of the best scenery Wales can offer then look no further. Situated in the hills above Denbigh, Caer Mynydd is close to the peaceful Denbigh Moors and the breathtaking Llyn Brenig, great for fly fishing and country walks.

For the children, the seaside resorts of Llandudno, Prestatyn, and Rhyl are close by.

There's a good range of shops in Llandudno. For bargains, the Tweed Mill Factory Outlet is at St. Asaph a few miles north of Denbigh.

There's lots of history in north Wales with many thirteenth century castles to explore in the area. Or, how about a ride on the steam railway or on a horse-drawn canal barge in Llangollen?

Park Location The park is located in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd in north Wales, near the historic town of Denbigh, close to Llyn Brenig, and roughly 15 miles from the Rhyl and Prestatyn sandy beaches. Conwy and Llangollen is little more than half an hour's drive away.

Directions (by road) The A55 'Expressway' is the main road through north Wales and connects with the motorway network serving north west England. Turn off the A55 at the St Asaph / Llanelwy junction and head towards Denbigh. As you approach the town of Denbigh you will come to a large roundabout with a house located in the middle! Take the second exit (Ruthin turn-off). You will then approach a second roundabout. Take the final exit so you are heading towards Denbigh town centre. Take the second left turning at the sports field, into Ystrad Road. Now follow this road for about 4 miles. On the approach to the village of Saron you will see the caravan park to the left and the touring field on the opposite side of the road.
